As I was walking back to Homebuilt HQ to get my camping refund, I saw Charlie Becker interviewing no other than Van.  I stuck around for a little bit, but I was in a hurry to blast off and head off to my next destination.  Just like two years ago, I continued on after Oshkosh to St Paul, MN to meet up with a college buddy of mine.  It was a perfect day to fly. Nice temps up at 3,500' too - low 70's. It was a nice break from the heat of Oshkosh.  Oh, look at me with my new Van's hat. I really dig the new logo.  Made it to the MSP area and we went to a bunch of different places. This is Minnehaha Falls in a state park just south of Minneapolis. There was a great restaurant nearby - Sea Salt. I highly recommend - and the wait (45 min!) was worth it. Tonight will be great as I get to sleep in air conditioning and not in a sleeping bag! The couch in the basement is SUCH the upgrade!
