Today my girlfriend and I decided to fly to Tangier Island, VA (KTGI). I have been here a few times and it has always been a nice trip to take. The weather forecast for today was supposed to be better than it turned out to be. Ceilings on the eastern shore of MD were around 2,200'. However, when we got to Tangier, it was perfect blue sky!

The EGT for the #3 cylinder started to misbehave.

The GRT plots over time really show the picture. These connectors I used on the firewall forward really suck in vibration. I need to replace them soon.

Tangier is famous for its crab cakes. We went to a restaurant where you get a whole meal for about $22/person. This table full of food doesn't even represent everything. Don't come to tangier on a full stomach!

Tangier has a nice beach to walk down. Here is a picture of the remains of a old steel ship that got stuck here in a storm. One of the guys on the island told us there used to be a tall mast where kids would tie a rope on and swing into the water. The beach here is eroding quickly. One sign we read indicated it erodes at 35'/year.

The way home presented more clouds. We flew over Ocean City, MD and the deck was about 1,700'. All in all, about 3 hours in the RV and it performed flawlessly!
