Late Xmas for Mikey today.....I received the Sam James plenum.  As well as this fiberglass map box from Aerotronics. I wasn't really thrilled with the construction of Van's aluminum map box. I saw this one in a local builders -8 and asked him where he got his from. He turned me on to AeroTronics.  I fabricated these two angles up out of 063 x 3/4" x 3/4" angle. These will be riveted to the panel and screwed with #6 screws to the avionics trays. I needed to trim one side down to 1/2" because of it interfering with the EFIS holes.  This is how it will be placed eventually. I spend a good hour trying to get all of the trays lined up perfectly. I still have more filing to do to get them centered left and right. I am within 1/32" of where I need to be, and I think the only thing that isn't perfect is the left/right alignment of the intercom tray.
