Today I mounted up the throttle bracket. This isn't the cheese-o one Van's has. This throttle bracket is from ExperimentalAir (http://www.experimentalair.com).

I thought it would add some dimension to my panel if the throttle bracket was recessed from the panel. I made a bracket out of some 063 stock to join the throttle bracket to the panel.

I countersunk the bottom of the panel for flush #8 screws to hold the throttle bracket.

Next I cut the holes for the Throttle, Prop control and mixture. I also put the Airbox Bypass actuator on this panel (on the left). Seems everything had different diameters. The Throttle was 1/2", and the prop and mixture controls were 3/4". For spacing between the controls I used 2 3/8".

I put the control in to check the fit.

With the controls in, I mounted the F-746 bracket. This came prebent, but I needed to bent it more. I installed some nutplates on the bottom of it for the adel clamps. Getting this aligned with the subpanel should be interesting. I will worry about that tomorrow.
