Todays entry is actually the culmination of the past two nights of work. It was pretty much repetitive, so why not. I worked on finishing the mounts for the vents. This aligns up with the panel for the vents to go into. The angle is to secure the bracket to the fuselage with the prepunched holes.

Here is is assembled. Although it looks simple, it took about an hour per side to get to this point, if not more.

Voila -- here is is installed. I am going to install a nutplate (one legged) on the top to secure to the panel in the prepunched hole.

And with the vent. I am going to trim the bottom inboard side of the bracket to be flush with the curvature of the vent. Right now this is just to test the basic fit. Its 90% done.

The other day I received the Experimental Air throttle bracket. This $40 upgrade is pretty freakin' nice. Much better than the piece of 040" Vans sends you for the job.

I intend to recess it about the depth of the bend angle on the panel, placing it right in the middle.
