It took me forever to find the specs on the F-721D angles, but it was on the slider diagram (DWG 25 I think).


The plans call to make these from 032 3/4" x 3/4" angle. Unfortunately, I could only dig up 025 angle. What I did was cut up the left over hat section used on the center subpanel. That was 032, and just shy of 3/4". Worked like a charm.


It took a while to figure our how these three small angle pieces fir together, but they are in now.


With the subpanel in, I drilled the F-902 bulkhead to the longeron with a #40 using an angle drill from below. Later I enlarged it to a #30.


I match drilled all the remaining holes then took everything apart to debur and prep. On the F-745-L, I sliced off the front part (part between the subpanel and panel). I did this because it will interfere with the EFIS I plan on putting there. I will reattach it to the subpanel using some 063 angle once I get my panel more layed out. I finished off the evening by starting the deburring process.
