First thing today I called Van's up about my lower longeron issue. I won't reiterate the outcome here, as I have updated the appropriate entry. Needless to say, I needed to place a parts order. I ordered up a whole mess of stuff from Van's today of stuff I messed up. The thing that sucks is the lower longeron is 5', and that needs to go UPS ground, so I won't have my stuff for probably another week. Not a big deal since I have my flaps to mount up along with a bunch of other stuff to do around the house. I did order the install kit for the high pressure fuel pump. Online, Van's lists the complete kit including the fuel pump, filter, brackets and connectors for $580. If you call them up, you can get just the installation kit for $94.85. In the long run you pay an extra $20 to buy them separately. It might be worth it because the engine I buy may have the fuel pump already bundled with it at a better price than Van's. Options are always nice!
