I am more of less done with the wings until they get inspected and I finish up with the little things like the pitot tube, etc.. So I decided to start on the ailerons tonight. First thing is to cut and trim 32 stiffeners out of 8 pieces of 022 angle. All I did tonight was mark where the cut lines need to be and cut the stiffeners. I need to get a cutoff wheel adapter for my new die grinder to trim these. I could use the aviation snips, but they distort the metal when they cut. Plus I need an excuse to stop for the night.
