I hit a milestone today - 1,000 hours on the RV! It's been close for a while as I haven't been flying that much. Today's mission was a short flight up to Lancaster, PA - I bought a DRDT-2 tool off of VAF Classifieds and the 20 minute flight seemed way better than a 90 minute drive!  I've had some amazing adventures with the RV in the last 1,000 hours and am excited to see what the next 1,000 offers! This airplane has been more than I could ever wish in an airplane. It just does everything so well!  When I finished building the RV, the ONLY tool I sold was the DRDT-2 dimpler. Every now and then I wish I didn't sell it. They don't come up for sale all that often, and they certainly are not simple to ship. This one was close, and as you can see, easily fits into the RV! I did need to add quite a bit of aileron trim on the trip back! Great day, great way to hit 1,000 hours!
