Today our EAA Chapter hosted the 2nd Annual Gathering of RV's In total we had between 40-50 airplanes. Ted, a prospective member for our chapter volunteered all day selling food. His payback - getting a ride in my RV! Ted is a very highly rated pilot - Private, Instrument, Complex, Multiengine and a few other ratings. I am sure he probably had more hours than I did. However, he had never been in a RV, never been in a tailwheel and also never done any aerobatics. We changed all of that today in one 30 minute flight. This is Ted with the RV grin. He did awesome - he even did a couple of great aileron rolls under his own control.  Below is a subset of all of the RV's at the Gathering today. I was busy most of the day and didn't have much free time to take pictures.
