It was just too perfect of an afternoon not to fly. The humidity was low and the temps were reasonable in the mid 80's. Plus the clouds were just begging to be in the air. I headed off to the airport to do a little flying

I wanted to do about an hours flight today and head off to York, PA (KTHV) and then to Chambersburg, PA (N68) for some touch and go's. I did a full stop landing at THV and then a touch and go at Chambersburg.

I hit 50 hours today! It's sickening to know I hit 40 hours around the end of March, and have only got in 10 hours or so since then in the past 3 months.

Sunset was just amazing.

There was a Cessna 172 on a VOR approach to KDMW, so I made an extended downwind since I couldn't see him. I made a long final approach to KDMW and was able to snap a nice pic on final.

What a great day of flying. I did about 3 takeoff/landings at KDMW to finish off the day. The RV is performing perfectly. Not one squawk from today. Hopefully in the next few weeks I'll be able to take a trip somewhere and really take advantage of owning this amazing traveling machine!
