A few weeks ago my hangarmate got a new hangar allowing me to be all by myself. My hangarmate, Steve, was a great guy to share with, but these hangars can only fit one RV in them. So I hated to see him go, but I needed him out to finish up. Today was pretty cool because it was the first time I have wheeled around the RV with both wings on her when I moved her to the center of the hangar.

What does every hangar need? A bike of course to get to the pisser fast! This was my dads old bike which didn't have tires on it. I slapped some cheap REI tires on her tonight. No more running to the port-o-john.

I also picked up some shelving and a plastic table at Home Depot on my way to the airport. The hangar is way unorganized now. I need to bring it together.

Back at home I had a stellar night working on the empennage tips. I got the rudder tips finished, primed and topcoated (with a primer sealer from Dupli-Color).

Same with the top of the vertical stabilizer tip. The empannage is ready to go to the hangar and get installed for good! I am sooooo glad all of this sanding and filling is behind me.
