While I wait for some parts orders to come in, I decided to move on to the engine mount. Before I could do anything, I needed to make some cutouts for the bottom of the engine mount (where the landing gear comes out).  Next I clamped the engine mount to the firewall.  I put a short piece of 1x2 across the front of the mount and clamped it to the firewall via the recess hole.  Here is another view...this method worked really good to hold the mount to the firewall while I checked everything out. Its a little on the late side, so I will sleep on all of this and try to drill the mount tomorrow.
