I spent the last 4 nights inventorying the fuselage kit, so it was nice to be done with counting washers and nuts and working with aluminum. Anyways, I clecoed on the bottom skins and the flap brace. It looks like the inboard flanges of the brace need to be bent some to make it fit snugger.

Next I countersunk the #40 holes on the flap brace. I did this so the dimpled bottom skin will sit in the countersunk holes on the flap brace, and on the other side, the flap hinge will sit flush on the brace. If you dimple the brace, then you have to either dimple or countersink the flap hinge. Anyways, I drilled some MDF with #40 holes so the countersink bits would have something to pilot itself.

The countersinks looked great in the end. I finished off the night by deburring and dimpling the holes on the bottom skins for the flap brace.
