14 months after starting the trim tab, it is finally done. I am very happy with how it turned out. The only issue I had was I made one of the rivet holes too close to the rear of the trim tab and it wouldn't set in it all the way - the bottom of the rivet interferes with the bottom of the riblet. My solutions are to see if I can trim a MK-319-BS a little shorter, find a short grip blind rivet or just forget about it and cover it will filler. Since it is on the top, I would like it to at least appear nicely, so another solution is to epoxy a cut off mk-319-bs or normal rivet into the hole.
